Today’s meeting was opened by Interact Club President Olivia Grinberg.

 

Visiting Rotarians: Karsten and Suzanne Zehm from Germany, and Eric Miller, President of the Fort Bragg Rotary Club.

 

Guests: Serena Acker, Principal Tobin Hahn. And Interact club members.

 

Today’s program:

The Interact Club presented a few rounds of hangman featuring Mendocino High School trivia. We learned that students are no longer allowed to drive during school hours, that the new principal is called Mr. Hahn by students, and that the girls volleyball team made it to the first round of State volleyball playoffs, and were Division 6 Champions.

Donna announced that she brought in our Club Charter, and noted that November marked our club’s 50tth anniversary! Party during Charter Night in February.

 

Eric from Fort Bragg Rotary, presented an opportunity to buy a $100 raffle ticket for a year of dining out … does not include wine…

 

We’ll be decorating our Christmas Tree in Rotary Park today, immediately following today’s meeting. Tree lighting will be 5pm this Saturday in the Park, complete with carolers!

 

Dec. 15th the carolers will be here for our regular club meeting, which will include a special meal: ham, butternut squash soup, and more!
