Rotarians Harold Hauck, John Cottle, Mike Sandys, Toby Wade and friend of Rotary spent three days last week raking leaves and mowing the grass in Mendocino Rotary Park. In the last few months picnic tables have been placed in the Park, and a fence has been constructed along Lansing Street. With the help of Mendocino County the drain pipes under Main and Howard Streets have been cleared. It is expected that construction will begin soon of a playground, pathways, a sidewalk, a work shed and meeting and garden areas. The purchase of land and development of the Park has been funded by generous donors and a grant from the Chatter Bischoff fund through the Mendocino Community Fund.
